This beer recives its final fermentation in the bottle. Brewed with pride and patience after the Carmelite Tradition. A 100% natural beer.

Karmeliet Triple History

The story of the Bosteels Brewery is one built on respect for the past.

The brewery stands in the small village of Buggenhout. Adjoining the spacious inner courtyard, the handsome and dignified buildings rise up from the ground, including the former family residence and the old whitewashed tower brewery.

The brewery has been in the hands of the Bosteel’s family for well over 200 years and seven generations. Their forefather Evarist Bosteel established the brewery in 1791. After that came Jozef, who had three sons. One of Jozef’s sons Frans for thirteen years was the Mayor of Buggenhout. Jozef’s other two sons Martin & Lodewijk instead learnt the brewer’s trade. Leon, Martin’s son took over the brewery in 1938 until the reins were passed again to Leon’s son Antoine Bosteel who carries on the Bosteel brewing dynasty.
